Our upper crash bars for KTM Super 1390 Adventure R / S biggest advantage is the non-floating design. To achieve this, we've developed a heavy-duty bracket to support the upper section of the crash bars, thus the structure is reinforced to avoid flexing and collapsing during impact of a crash. Furthermore, we reduced the additional weight by using the same 22mm diameter tubing as the KTM factory crash bars (pre-equipped on the R model), as opposed to other manufacturers who might use 25 or even 27mm diameter tubing, but without the proper support.
Note: KTM (lower) crash bars must be equipped. Owners of the S model will need KTM PowerPart Ref: A62612168044C1 or A62612168044EB

X-Bracket platform for Outback Motortek Standard Pannier racks
Built from a strong sheet of aluminium, the X-Bracket is a mounting platform for our Standard Pannier racks. It is designed to be used as a base in order to mount a variety of accessories, including but not restricted to, a 1 gallon ‘Rotopax’ (or similar) fuel/water canister, our Caja de Herramientas, a First Aid kit, etc.*
The sliding X-Bracket can be mounted in the centre of the pannier racks or close to either edge, allowing the mounting of accessories on the outside as well. Shifted all the way forward or backward, it'll make room for strapping a smaller 6-10L bag next to it.
*Fuel canister and other mentioned accessories are not included in the purchase.

Important note: Due to the shape and location of the original Honda exhaust muffler, your soft pannier may be exposed to extreme heat. Our heat shield's primary purpose is to keep soft panniers from coming in contact with the exhaust muffler, not to deflect exhaust fumes. A solution may be to upgrade to a shorter aftermarket exhaust muffler or the installation of a downward deflector.
